Melanie Colling

Hi, I’m Melanie Colling, Founder of Purpose Driven Projects, co-founder of Experts On Air - Podcast Booking Agency, host of the Business Connections Podcast and Amazon International best-selling co-author of ‘You Are A Genius’.

I'm an entrepreneur, mum of 1, avid podcast listener, voracious business book reader, I love meeting new people and learning about what they do and why they do it and I just can't help connecting people and having fun!
I am passionate about helping fellow business leaders and experts succeed by helping them to accelerate their businesses to the next level through collaboration to become leaders in their field, industry and/or niche.

I believe entrepreneurs will make the change in the world we want to see and need, not governments. So I am committed to supporting and connecting entrepreneurs to empower change! This is why I get up every morning! In my ‘previous life’ I built a career in IT as an industry certified Project Management professional. I worked for Fortune 500 companies such as IBM and HP as well as leading Australian organisations like NAB, Telstra, Medibank, BP Oil, Origin Energy and Newcrest Mining to name a few.
Whilst I enjoyed working on multi-million dollar, innovative projects and with some amazing people I felt I was not fulfilling my full potential and impacting the world in the way I wanted to.

I escaped the corporate world in 2016 and moved to Bali with my family for 7 months, where I hosted and facilitated a Business Accelerator program for entrepreneurs and business leaders following the Wealth Dynamics framework.

And ever since I have been helping entrepreneurs, business owners and leaders to accelerate their businesses through project leadership, connection and collaboration. I love it!

My advice to others on the business journey is to know yourself inside out, choose the right vehicle, surround yourself with like minded people, don’t do it alone - collaborate & partner and get a mentor! 

Tracey Mathers

Tracey’s Grandfather founded the iconic shoe retailer Mathers Shoes so retail, sales, leadership, team building and relationship building is in her DNA.

Growing up working in her family stores she learnt the fundamentals that are often lacking today, like customer service excellence and adding value to every customer you look after face to face or virtually.

Tracey worked in the family business until she was 24, but saw an opportunity to open her first retail shoe store in 1991. It grew to a small group of 6 stores quickly. She sold 26 years later to focus on training others in all the great lessons she learnt on the journey, “I do things a little bit differently to others. Why? Because I’ve sat where you have before (for 35 years in fact) and I’ve learnt this one hard truth… only in the rarest of circumstances will your offering be so unique, that your clients can’t buy from your competitors. Navigation to Potential was founded by Kerrilee who has worked as a professional recruiter for almost 25 years. Over this period, she has been exposed to many different recruitment tools and coaching methods to help individuals find a new job. However, she eventually recognised that these tools and coaching methods were missing a key factor. That factor is the job fulfillment factor. Navigation to Potential supports individuals by filling the gap in the career coaching market that doesn’t address the job fulfillment factor, and provide an awareness of an individuals differentiator.

Our success is based on the simplicity of our methodology that is underpinned by the Contribution Compass, coupled with our intimate knowledge of the job hunt’s idiosyncrasies and challenges.

John Gemmell

John has over 30 years of management experience in tourism and hospitality. Coaching mixed small business owners, for the last eight years in the Veterinary industry.  He is passionate about coaching, supporting, and encouraging managers/leaders, to help develop their teams to learn more, do more, and become more.

This improves their effectiveness and efficiencies as a leader. It also helps develop a strong Team Alignment to improve workplace culture, team morale, and collaboration, and lift productivity and performance. Not forgetting to develop a psychologically safe work environment for all.

 

Katie Fairbrother

My professional experience spans most sectors and levels of responsibility having started (at 17 years old!) in the industry as an architectural technician - working predominantly in residential, commercial, education, and mixed-use while progressing into more and more senior architectural roles working on projects like large scale shopping centres, education, health, heritage, planning and infrastructure projects.

Several decades later, this extended to client-side project roles in specialist capacities on large complex projects like light rail, heavy rail and education. Design, Building and Property are my passion.

Kaleidoscope Creative was established to serve clients across architecture, interiors and project management products and services in a market responsive and adaptable manner. Just like a kaleidoscope, where facets twist and turn together to produce beautiful, technical and harmonious compositions.
